Shaved door handles?

Thinking about going with shaved door handles. Depends if I go with a half-way crazy paint scheme or stay all black, and other variables.

I would like to see pics of where you guys put the stuff to make the door pop open by remote. I think door poppers is what the stuff is named. Any one had troubles installing these? Is there a good kit to go with?

Re: Shaved door handles?

Had shaved handles, hated them for a driver. Flush, body colored handles worked MUCH nicer on my 92 RS.

Powdered Graphite....Works wonders on lubing things, helping to prevent sticking, and lasts & lasts!

Re: Shaved door handles?

I hope to elimate the problem of crawling in the back by running an extra switch for the windows, an extra wired switch for the door poppers, and a battery mounted in the rear. What do you guys think about running 2 poppers per door, one below and above the latch? Or is that kind of overkill?

Re: Shaved door handles?

I was going to shave my handles but found out I couldn't run at the track if they were shaved. Don't know if that influences your decision.
