I just found out about the brackets that go on the chin spoiler and rocker panel ground effect pieces. The pieces that I purchased did not come with the brackets, so my search has begun for them.

I have spent a descent amount of time looking for new brackets from a dealer or after market parts dealer, but have had no luck. I went to the junk yard and tried to get them off of another car, but the bolts just break when I try to take the nut off.

Does anyone know where I can find a set of these? The body kit style is 85-89. Thanks

Those are exactly what I am looking for, but for a Camaro. Sorry I didn't post my car in the original message (1987 Camaro). I checked through hawks "Ground Effects" section but didn't find any in the Camaro category. Thanks for posting though, much appreciated.

Also, There have been a Few times I have spoke with Jennie or Bruce From hawks third Generation and they have been very helpful, ESPECIALLY Bruce.. Give them a call and Ask if they have it new or used, It couldnt Hurt ya know.. you can find there Number At the Bottom of the web page, i dont know why they dont have a 1-800 number... I am self employed and all my clients have a 1-800 number to call lol...

 

I would appreciate that. I am also looking for a power antenna shaft if your friend happens to have one of those around.

I'll probably end up giving Hawks a call, just waiting for gmpartsdirect.com to reply to me. I found the brackets on there, but when I went to check out, it said the part numbers were bad.

 

They May be Discontinued. I have used GMpartsdirect.com and it took FOREVER for my lower air dam to come in.. I dont Know about you but I am very impatient. When I want it, I want it NOW, Not later Not tomorow Not Next week, NOW.. and waiting almost 2 weeks Drove me Crazy...

Does that antenna have a good shaft? I have a good motor and housing, but the antenna shaft is all bent up.

 

Oh I dont Know.. This was a Pic of My old Motor that I replaced.. I dont even know If I still have it I may have thrown it out.. But I wanted to get an Idea on what you were looking for so I can ask my friend.. If I can find Mine, You can have it, Just pay for shipping.. I couldnt ask anything for something thats Not Working, if my friend has it, hes gonna want to send you the whole antenna Motor...Ill let you know
