okay to get straight to the point i got the 4th gen seats installed & now id like to try to instaill 91/92 "body kit" since im missing the lower front GFX
how hard is it to do & what all will i need to get off the 91/92 the GFX come from
i plan on swapping the nose, side skirts, rear bumper, & the lower quarter panel pieces. from what ive heard the nose is direct swap? & ill have to drill holes for the rest is it true?

Re: im 17 & need advice/help for my z28!
The nose is direct the chin spoiler you'll have to cut slits in the fender by the turn signals everything should bolt up BUT,,, sometimes you'll run into some tweaks like just finished putting the aero gfxs on my 89, I didn't bother with the bumper or the rear quaters, and the rockers on the passenger side matched up perfect however, there is a bolt that goes through the rear section of the rockers on the older gfxs the newer ones have tabs so on mine I had to cut the tabs and drill a hole in the inside of the rockers insert a bolt then push the bolt through the pre existing hole inside the car by the backseats,,,the drivers side was off maybe an eighth of an inch so i drilled some holes on where the top of the rockers sit under the door, the door moldings was a direct fit as well(yes u will need the newer door molding so the doors open and close)... Its not that hard to do the switch really unscrewing and cutting a little bit of metal...
This will all make sense once you get into it, you'll want to take out the back seats and trim as well, to get to the nut for the bolt on the rockers... this is all if you have the same gfxs on yours as I do...

I did the swap on my 83 Z. It is pretty easy but some modifications will be required. Make sure you get the brackets for the 91-92 gfx pieces. The front and rear bumpers will be a direct bolt on.
To use the 91-92 front gfx you will need to make two slits into the fenders. That can easily be done with a dremel. The side gfx bolt right on if I remember correctly. The door gfx pieces might require some enlarging of the holes that are already there. For the rear gfx, you will need to drill a new hole to mount them.

Re: im 17 & need advice/help for my z28!
thanks for the help, i did know the bumpers were direct bolt on but i was unsure of the front lower gfx piece & the ones on the lower quarter panels
i could have gotten a full 1991 RS "body kit" for $175 had everything but the car got crushed a few days later my friend got the complete interior for $125
& i finally fount a "Aero spoiler" in a junkyard in knoxville it was off a purple 91 z28 & only cost me $40 plus tax
i am still looking for a 91-92 z28 hood with the blisters on it so that i dont have to hunt for the blisters after i get a hood
im considering going with the 85-90 nose & GXF so i can get done quicker
i plan on pulling the 305 H.O. & dropping a lt-1 or a 383 stroker in it further into the future. but whats a good exhaust to put on my car?
im considering the flowmaster 40 series because it sounds good but its too damn loud inside the car. also my car will NOT have a catylic converter put back on
