Re: options on new window sweeps
I have installed both GM and aftermarket sweeps. I could tell no difference between the ones sold by 1AAuto and the OM sweeps. I've had to drill additional holes in both types. All of the mounting holes will likely not line up exactly.
Installed four or five sets over the years. Go with the 1AAuto sweeps.

It's worth it. Of course once you get the door panel off you might as well replace the stops for the creaks, soak the latch in cleaner so the power locks work like new, clean the window tracks, replace the door molding, pull the window motor out, clean and replace the contacts, etc.

Re: options on new window sweeps
When I first started looking for new ones I had major sticker shock. I honestly didn't expect to pay more than $10-15 each....maybe $20 each for OEM. These things are severely overpriced, that's why I'm still hunting the junk yards hoping to score some nice ones cheap.

I would never go with used ones... The newest of these cars is 16 years old. You will break them getting them out. 67.oo is cheap and well worth it.
