Nose emblem question

hey i've got a question...i'm having to repaint my car and im kinda lost...what "style" nose emblem should a 86 iroc z28 with a 305 tpi be? my car when i bought it had been repainted and the emblem was all silver, but idk if it should be or not. should it be red white and blue or does this even matter?

i would like the original one...which ever it is.

i'm wondering if i need this

The above looks like the one on my 85 IROC, though the bowtie is dark.

I don't recall which one you need but I think their are 3 different versions of the nose emblem.

The one pictured on top is the correct one for the 86-87 IROC.

I wasn't accurate, I mean't the emblem posted at the top of the thread. On the emblem cataloge it would be the middle emblem, last row.

Re: Nose emblem question

thanks guys, the car is all finished up and with a new emblem. Unfortunately the shop put the 5.7 in front of the TPI on the bumper cover, so either that needs to come off, or i can keep it on and just get a 350 which i intend on doing eventually.
