I like them, they look good. Just get some white decal tape for the middle. Later.

I like it even with the black center.
By the way 91 formula, you have the wrong taillights on that car!
I'd be willing to trade you a perfect set of the correct lights for your car for the ones currently there. haha!LOL!

Looks good. how long did it take you to make them? Does the car feel stiffer because it isn't glass/lexan anymore? I like them. I kinda wish my car was a t-top to begin with, but my father and I have too much time into my formula to switch bodies.
Hey, where did you pick up the rear clear sidemarkers? I have been looking for them everywhere.

Booooooooooooooo! No more sunshine coming in.....If you had wanted a hard top, it wouldn't have been hard to trade.
I've seen that done before. Didn't care for it then, nor now.
I just don't understand the desire to paint T-tops....

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
I really prefer the contrast of the black T's on a white car. I may like it better on a different color. Now as long as you like it that is all that matters. Nice clean car BTW.

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
I did almost the opposite on my red T/A. I painted the windshield frame black to blend in with the glass all around it. Then you get kind of a rollbar effect with a glass section in the front and glass hatch in the rear.

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
So all you did was get white paint and a brush and painted them? I have ttops that are not glass on my car and a set of glass ones that will not seal right on my car.

Really? Can we see it? I wanna see how your windshield was coated.

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
I didn't paint the glass just the frame around it. What was red is now black. It's a subtle change that isn't really apparent when you look at it, you just kinda know something is different. You can kinda see it in my post in this other thread. Here on page 2... https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cama...you-get-2.html

Nice job White91. I prefer the dark panels. I think they contrast nicely against the white. But to each his own!

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
how affraid of scratching those are you every time you take those off?
Looks cool on your car, not sure I like the idea in general but on white it seems to work...
So long as no one tries to paint t-tops onto their hard top I think the world will remain on it's axis

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
im really not concerned with scratching it, its base/cleared and the paint only cost me about $50 to do, so if it starts to peel or gets scratched i can just strip it and do it again.
i have about 6 sets of lexan ttops also so if i get sick of it i can always just throw another set of non painted ones on too

Re: something you dont see everyday ...
is that an original hatch glass? It doesn't appear to have the greenish hue to the tint around the edges that all the factory ones I've seen have. Even when they're tinted, the green etching shows but yours looks to be black. Maybe it's just the camera angle and lighting.
