Re: 1990 Firebird Purchase

1100 sounds high to me for a v6 car that needs a steering column!
I'd offer 800 if you really want the car and everything else is in great condition.
BTW,that is a nice GTA!

Re: 1990 Firebird Purchase

yea dude sounds like too much

i got a complete 1986 trans am with a 305 v8 tpi engine with 100,000 miles on it.

body needed work but had t-tops and only paid 750

and think of how much your going to put into one of these cars.

paying alot for something that needs alot of work doesnt sound right

u can get a much nicer thirdgen for 1100

"JUST MY OPINION" dont get mad please

goodluck with whatever you get

Re: 1990 Firebird Purchase

yeah,my 89 only cost me $50!!Had no engine/trans, looked like total crap but,had a good disc brake rear and alum. driveshaft.
I pretty much built the car around that other than the fact the body was in great shape.

Re: 1990 Firebird Purchase

I did purchase the car, but I ended up trading a laptop and a PS3 for it. the body is in excellent shape no rust, interior really needs cleaned, but the motor and tranny seem in great working shape. I bascially got the car for my daughter who is 16, so that said well see how long the body goes without being banged up. so i think i did pretty good. well see

haha! I bought a 91 v6 bird for my niece a few months ago (a month before she turned 16 actually) and when she came over and sat in the car I could tell by the look on her face that this car wasn't for her.She doesn't like the long front end.She said to me (but,I can't see the bumper!)
car was sold a few days later.

Don't be fooled by this bait! I would probably get this for 800 or less.
