hi, anyone got pictures of a 87 midnight russet trans am?

I got one but have never seen another with that color

 

Can you post pics of it? I don't think I have ever seen that color before...

 

It looks black\brown on cloudy days, and when the sun come out brown\bronze.

The car was repainted a few years ago, the former owner said that they did paint it in the original color.

But with 372 cars in that color it can be difficult to find another

 

that color is AWESOME!

 

Wow, thats a beautiful color...Almost looks 'Root Beer' in color. I was able to find another member (Klortho) with a Midnight Russet Metallic GTA but, I couldn't find any pictures of it.

 

thats a sweet as$ color. tho personally, i would pefer when the sun hits it to look like a chacoal grey metalic, jmo.

 

Do you happen to know the paint codes for it? If it's the original color, the paint codes should be on the RPO decal in the center console. I would LOVE to paint my 88 GTA that color.

 

I realize this is an old thread but I wanted to share a pic of my '87 GTA in Midnight Russet that I purchased earlier this year. 1 of 372 GTAs produced in this color. I used to own an identical GTA and cannot believe I found another one. Enjoy!

Recent addition. '87 Trans Am GTA in midnight russet. 1 of 372. We named it Hazel.

 

Heck yeah! Love that color! ....I've got a list of 7 or 8 thirdgens I'd buy as a stock survivor to remain untouched alongside my modified cars. -this color combo is one of 'em!

 

Never heard or seen this color. It is growing on me.
