92 rs with 86 nose? oppinion n pix??

hey, i got a black 92 rs with the aero ground effects and the lip on the rear bumper, well the car got in a wreck, and trashed the rs bumper. then i put a 87 iroc nose on it, and its in too bad of damage cuz the car is getting painted in like 2 weeks, its beyond repair, well so i say, 2 cracks in the chin, and a gash from the chin to the fog light vertically. well anyways, im strapped for cash like alot of other ppl but need a new nose, now a guy that owes me money has a 86 sport coupe nose and a pair of fenders, which my fenders arent great, dont really line up, and are dented to hell. the car it came off has 9000 miles and died, so they are mint. how do u guys think it would look for the 86 nose to be on my 92. NOTE: motor rebuild this week, interior work, and paint in 2 weeks, then the car is sold, so my oppinion dont matter on this car at all, no buyer is lined up yet so that person is not there to make an oppinoin.
now i looked for pix and got nothing really applicable to this
pix and oppinions please???
thanks
keith

Personally, I don't think it would look right at all. I think that bumper would look completely out of place when the rest of the car has ground effects. However, if the car is going to be sold as soon as it's finished I guess it doesn't really matter as long as somebody is willing to buy it.

Yeah but they will be smart enough to have seen a Camaro and realize it looks wrong. It would be a lot easier to sell if it was visually appealing. The lines won't follow correctly.

The transition will be wrong.

On the other hand, I have a sport coupe and really need a new nose, so you should probably sell it to me

I have an 86 and a 92. They won't look right nor will they lineup with the ground effects. I also would not assume that someone won't know the difference. There are a lot of people that do their homework before they buy. Plus it does not seem right to sell the car and not tell they buyer what you did to the car. The buyer deserves to have as much info on the car as possible prior to making a decision.

not saying that i wouldnt tell him, and i picked up the fenders, nose, and reinforcemant, tomarro im getitn the exaust and driver door. i have my hands tied, but i would have no problem selling the nose, lol, its in great shape, no fade cracks "spiderwebbs" nothing, i just want a nose that will look good. in the morning we will put the nose on and see how it looks, take pix and get oppinons before paint, its not a big deal for me like 20 mins to swap the noses.
