Re: OUCH

What exactly happened there...did it just fall off or is the picture leaving something out? It doesn't look like it got smashed into or dragged off on a post or anything...

Where is the split?

I'm looking for a "useless" busted one, since I only need part of one. Depending on price & shipping, I might want it/part of it (if your willing to cut it).

I would claim it cause ya never know when you get involved with shenanagans like that you could end up screwing yourself.

Re: OUCH

I'm sorry if this sounds cold but F*#&K that claim it and have the insurance work it out because it's your car and u put your time and money it to it and if it was the other way around they would sue you. Don't fall into that oo they don;t have a DL just let it one of my friend do a half *** job on it and call it a day.

Some kid hit me and then ran because he wasn't suppose to be driving he was only 17 and had 5 people in the car. but he didn't count on me following him and getting his plates. So then his mother try to pull the song and dance of to give him a break bahbbah but he wasn't the one with a broken window door the can't close and i had to buy a new door form GM 851.44 i bent over for that one.

Re: OUCH

I had a similar deal where I was inside when a Suburban backed into my Camaro. Same sob story and offer to have it fixed by someone they know. They actually said that they would have left if there weren't so many people around. They also tried to involve my insurance company which I didn't allow. I also know of an incident where a person was rear ended and didn't file a claim only to learn later on that the other party filed and changed the story. File the claim, their problems aren't yours but they could be later on. Don't accept it being totaled either. The claim may be limited to the amount of the value of the vehicle which can also be disputed.

Re: OUCH

Man that sucks! I would be so pissed if that happen to me. Definitively make a claim against his insurance.

BUT if you want to get rid of the car.....

Does that have an lt1 or ls1 in it? How much would you want for it the way it sits? I might be interested in it even tho its all wrecked.
