im looking to get an idea on how my camaro is going to look once i finish it the original colors are red with gold ground effects and i want to keep those colors any pics would be appreciated thanks

That's a picture from when I brought it home. It's in pieces now. Maybe in a year or two I'll have it back together!

this is the color combo im looking for this car was my moms and the car has been in the family since 88 and its now mine i just want to get an idea on what itll look like with decent paint and all being as far back as i can remember its had the primer on the door and the clear was pealing back in new jersey it was stolen a whole bunch of times so im just looking for a pic of possible end result for a little motivation lol its got beachwood interior aswell

 

Well, I'm no expert but, I can't remember seeing one painted that way.

Maybe try a search on 'colors', 'color combinations' or something along those lines and see what pops up. I know someone recently posted a chart of available colors and combinations in the History and Restoration thread. I think.

yeah ive never seen one with that color combo either but thats the way it came from the dealer if i remember correctly my mother told me it was a special order for somone who never picked it up and she ended up falling in love with it.

 

My 85 Z-28 is red with gold gfx? Has the gold z ralleys on it too. Sorry no pics gfx are off in prep for new paint.

I LOVE that red w/ gold GFX combo. I've seen several over the years. I think it's a very retro look though. I think that's awesome, but it'll certainly date the car!!!! I've got a red Iroc w/gold trim, but of course, the GFX are not gold.

You've got a very nice looking car though. Rare? No. Less common than the red/silver combo? Absolutely.
