I used one on my old rs before.I had the same problem with the antenna hole, the only thing I really didn't like about them you could tell they were made with thinner metal they weren't as solid as the stocker's otherwise fit was great. Not sure where mine came from though probably china

Re: reproduction fender? anyone use one?

I tried an aftermarket fender and in my opinion they just don't line up that well. I wound up going to the junkyard and buying two used GM fenders and they fit perfect!

Re: reproduction fender? anyone use one?

I really want to try and find a good fiberglass set of fenders for my camaro. I know Duraflex has them but I've read that they dont fit well. Any other places?

I want fiberglass so I don't have to worry about rust and the little weight that it takes off could help too.

Try finding used body parts in your area. I been picking up lots of parts for my car from ads on craigslist. Repro parts may not always fit 100%. Used parts are still cheap for our cars. Also stock fenders are pretty light.

I know they're already light but thats not what I'm really thinking about when it comes to the fiberglass.

88camaro, as long as they're coated well, they won't rust.

Re: reproduction fender? anyone use one?

I think its best to find the fender in a junkyard or off another car cause it lines up better and cheaper too.

Ya, I just hate the rust here in MO. I don't take mine out in the rain or winter anymore. It's getting really stupid really quick.

Re: reproduction fender? anyone use one?

I used to live in Northern IL and all cars have rust unless they are new. When I drove my Camaro in the winter I found if you wash your car more often it helps, but in IL they use salt on the roads and it just destroyed cars.

Re: reproduction fender? anyone use one?

the aftermarket fender that I had was 3/16 shorter from back to front than OEM and it didn't line up right. I couldn't give it away so I scrapped it with my old differential for $10. Have some patience and look for used fenders on craigslist or a junkyard....I've picked up both sides for $40
