Thanks everyone for all your feedback! i really appreciate it! It feels to have something that you worked so hard on admired! Im sure alot of you know that with your cars already tho! So the reason why i havent put pics up of the COMPLETED car is because we actually only bought a pint of the kandy pink and we actually ran out halfway through painting it last night haha lesson learned! so my dad had 2 quarts sent to the shop today and we are finishing it up right now! I actually havent seen the two tone as one yet! The black is covered up and im so ready to rip all the paper off and take some pics for yall! I have taken pics of just the pink but i wanted to wait untill i can put a pic of the two tone together because you guys might be a LITTLE shocked at how pink this car actually came out pictures up later tonight! Shes finallly done!

Yes, i think it has something to do with the flourecent lights, but the car is definitely not red. The camera doesnt pick the color up well. My dad said that it hurt his eyes to look at it. Like i said im going to take more pictures in better light/sunlight tomorrow.

A couple of questions though..

Did you paint the jams to match (top half of jam black, bottom pink, interior side of doors pink), or did you just spray the exterior?

Also, did you finalize a wheel yet?

Haha thanks so much im excited to see it under the sun too! Its pissing me off that the light in the booth is so horrible yall cant even really SEE how HOT this pink is. Also we just finished putting a whole gallon of clear on it so the color has intensified! But yes killer wheels are coming. After seeing the pink and how loud it is, im thinking about just doing chrome wheels now, like 5 spoked chrome!

And yes, we did the jams first before anything. The top half of the door is black and under the hood and all the trunk jams. We havent done the bottom half of the door pink yet tho! We have to finish that this week as well as a few other little things such as painting my side mirrors black and fixing my speedometer! As for the interior side of the door, we arent gonna bother with it because the door panels cover it anyways.

As for wheels, i was gonna do pink and black but thats before i saw the pink. Lol it would be too busy, so im most likely gonna go woth chrome rims, and some brand new tires! And to even out the chrome i want to get a billet grille also! I like how they look!

 

Looks great, i actually hope it doesn't change to much once its out in natural light because that's a nice color.

I would drive the hell out of that car lol.

Some single stripe taillights with the orange painted red would look perfect with how clean that is.

 

well, if you go with chrome or billet wheels, then a silver stripe dividing the black and the pink would help to bring it all together well.

The wheels that you posted earlier with the black and brushed chrome would look great on that paint scheme just the way they come. Love the car, love that you made it all yours. Now, do what you can to keep it beautiful and make sure that now the body looks good you take the same care under the hood. Nothing worse than a great paint job at a show, then you open the hood and urgh!
