I have been told that there is nothing to worry about if you just have it sitting there. Also if you have driven it once on the salty streets you should power wash the underside to get all the salt off to prevent rusting. That's what I did and I threw on this tarp ($10) along with 50 ft of rope ($1) to hold it down. With mine I zigzagged it under the car back and forth and looped the rope through all the grommets and around the back and tied it down. Since I ran out of rope I tied some fishing stringers together around the front end to keep it from inflating and ripping. Mine already survived through a whole day of 50+ mph winds reaching about 70 mph at times.

Make sure the tarp doesn't contact the ground around the car. Air must be allowed to circulate under the car to prevent mositure from forming. Also do not allow the snow to drift around the sides and enclose the bottom of the car either.

Re: Hey Guys Quick Question!
My biggest fear with car covers, of any kind, is if you get any dirt under them, then you have a sandpaper cover. Just the texture of the cover can be abrasive. Remember the old LeBra's? They protected the paint from rock chips but wore the paint off. Maybe if you took it off when you could and wash or make sure everything is clean? JMO Good luck
