I am currently searching for a replacement body kit for the RS style. I need both running boards and the front end, id be interested in an entire kit, Any pointers?

Also, Is there a stock interior kit i can purchase? I am not sure this is the way i want to go i have my heart set on doing some custom fiberglass work on the dashpad and center console, and in the rear hatch. Any tips would be appreciated.

PS. I paid 900$ for this beast, body in very good condition with need of a touchup, and all it needed was the VATS system fixed in it. As it turned out with a stroke of luck someone had bypassed it using a Resistor, i could have driven it home had i known, it runs like a dream.

oh and another side note, who ever decided to put the steering wheel as small as the one is in my car is an idiot, im changing that fast but its one of those cosmetic things that are way less important than paint/bodywork and drive-train.

just scratching my head. Have an 89 rs and don't know what you mean by a body kit. As far as the interior goes, there doesn't seem to be a kit for that. Either you can find an interior some one has for sale or recover and update what you have.

You guys rock! What do you think about a repaint of high gloss black and ghosted cyber grey metallic racing stripes? Is that even doable? I know the thought of it makes excited as hell!!

PS: How viable are the dashpad covers? It seems to me its a cut corner type of thing!

Re: 1989 Camaro RS 305 TBI
Im thinking of buying a new fab, reproduction dashpad because the rest of my dash is MINT! Also, this is a new project and im a full time college student hoping i can manage it! I am repairing cars, computers, phones, and doing plumbing on the side to try to finance my restoration. More like a Resto-Mod. Anyhow, wish me luck.

P.S I paid 950$ for this car, good buy or not? Its rust free anywhere i can see, does not seem to have much body filler on it. There are some bracket's for quarterpanels in the front that are tore up but this is a rust free car! I had to sand out the corner of the door frame it had an approx 2 by 2 spot of rust. I'm preparing to take it down to the metal and get all the body straight.

Guess I mis-understood the question. I just figured that an interior kit would come with everything to refinish the interior except glue. Like a model car Kit.
And I presume that is the meaning of a body "kit". Sorry, my mistake.

I was refering to the RS "trim" for the outside of the car as body kit, i dunno what the techy term is for this.
