Lack of Camaro decals
Except for the center caps on the wheels, why is there no identifying badge on my 92 Camaro Z28? Why did GM decide to get rid of those badges that said "CAMARO"? Some less car knowledgeable people don't even know what car I drive because all the see is "Z28"(I have aftermarket rims)

I've always wondered that, but I guess you have to rely on those older people who know what they are! And the younger ones who want them.

I've owned my car for a month and have had 3 people ask what type of car it is.

Re: Lack of Camaro decals
At first I wished that my car had some more graphics, etc. Now I'm glad GM didn't add flashy emblems or badges. The 91-92 are nice clean cars that showcase the thirdgen body style in its last iterations.
Most times car companies add logos/graphics to make up for lack of performance or when the car run gets into its last few years. Maybe GM didn't want to spend any extra money on a car line that was ending. GM also redesigned the GFX, new hood blisters and spoiler for the Z's. Maybe they thought it was enough of a change.

Re: Lack of Camaro decals
I had the red bow tie on the front of my red car. Thats the only badge I would add.
( cops made me put a license plate there , it really messes up the clean look from the front)
I did see that you said "Camaro" decals/badging but there also is the lack of any thing that says
Chevy and unless you know what your looking at they don't have a clue. Whats a IROC-Z ?

Very true about the Chevy identification as well. I have a 92 so I have the red bowtie outline on the front license plate area. I live in Oklahoma so I am not required to have a front license plate, so that gives me a little Chevy identifier. If you like cars and love to build 'em, I highly recommend Oklahoma. No front license plate, no emissions tests, strong car community. Pretty sweet.
