Help need answers

is the interior light supposed to come on with the hatch open?

how would you wire a hatch release button and solinoid.

My light doesn't

Best bet is to go to junkyard and find the right solenoid. Then it's just a matter of wiring it. If it was and option on your year car the wiring is probably already there, just have to connect the wires and add a switch.

nope.. the light doesn't come on when the hatch is open..

You'd need to install a door pin switch. Go to any place that sells alarms and get one there.

Do you have that little light in the back?

Are you talking about the dome light and the rest of the interior lights, or the hatch fill light? Some cars have a switch that turns it on and off, and the rest are activated when the hatch is opened.

the dome light doesn't turn on when the hatch is open, only the little trunk light

If you were to run a wire from your release tou your door pin they would all come on when the hatch opens. This is what I did in order to trigger my alarm. If you want to do it a different way, mount one of those GAY hood pins under your hatch.
