Heard of ACC? They sell the authorized GM reproduction carpet. The passenger-section only (under front & rear seats) is $170 from their website at http://www.accmats.com . It's also priced about the same from places like The Paddock & Classic Industries.

BUT- Check out http://www.1aauto.com !! They sell the ACC passenger area carpet for $120! The cargo area (hatchback) is another $100, the whole set's $220. You can't beat that! Plus it's the ACC stuff... not Ohio Auto Mat or Newark Carpet or any of those JC Whitney brands.

A carpet tip- get the kind "with console".. that means the center hole's already there. However, when I put my carpet in, I had to enlarge that console hole to "huge" on my own. I used the old carpet as a guide to cut the new hole a little bit "shorter". When I laid the new stuff in the car, I did the final cut for the hole. Be careful when doing the final cut; it's easy to go "past" what the console covers.

Also check out J.C. Whitney. They usually have carpets priced pretty reasonable, and as common as the F-Body is, I'm sure they'll have a custom fit carpet for it.

That 1AAuto.com carpet is good... they sell it on eBay for $200 for the full set (passenger/cargo) ... definately worth getting... fits like a glove, I installed a set of it in a friends camaro awhile ago and am currently working on doing the same for mine... they request that you send a piece of your original carpet for them to match it if you want to stay with the original... it comes with the jute backing and everything... just a few slight snips here and there to get it fit completely snug and all... they have 2 different kits I believe... ones for those of us with the carpet on the center console and the ones without it... its worth the extra cash, and its really not hard to do at all

I bought my carpet for $125 at spring carlisle. By buying there, I saved the tax money & made them ship to me for free as part of the deal. Plus you can price compare there as well. My advice, wait till spring Carlisle
