Black leather IROC-Z seats

Check out these pictures of the new seats I got for my IROC. They are black leather and have IROC-Z embroidered in them in red.

What do you guys think?

They are the original seats that came with my IROC. They used to be grey fabric. I got them reapolstered and embroidered.

Can I ask approximately how much a re-upolstory(sp?) might run ? ($$)

Again, very sweet, make sure to share some pics when you get them in the car!

I got them reapolstered for $700CDN which is about $400-500US I think. The embroidery work I got done for $10 canadian for both front seats but the company I work for rents out the building to the embrodery shop so I got it for a cheap price. Usually it would be 50-100 bux to get IROC-Z embroidered on both seats like that. So alltogether it cost me $710 canadian to turn mu crappy stained and torn worthless gray fabric seats into these custom mint seats.

Very nice. That's a good price, too. Is the rest of the interior black? Would be interested in seeing pics as I'm in the process of doing the same.

It will be all black I already stripped out the inside of the car down to the bare metal and installed new carpet, repainted all the plastic parts from grey to black, put new black carpet on the parts that had old grey carpet, new t-top headliner, now all I have to do is put it all back together

I was thinking about buying some reupholstered seats. They were redone in black leather. They are the seats from a '91 Z28. It is from an auto place, where they customize and reupholster seats. I have seen some of his seats on ebay before and they look great. He said he would give me the set for $625 shipped to my house in NY, he is located in Florida. The only thing is that he said they dont have the tracks or plastic pieces. I have tracks in my car. That isnt a problem. I have an '83 TA, and I wanted to redo my entire interior. He said that they dont come with the plasic trim pieces either. What does he mean by this? Do I need the plastic trim pieces? Where would I end up finding these pieces if they were absolutely necessary?

I think he is talking about the plastic pieces on the sides of the seatbelt where the top part and bottom part of the seat connect. The are plastic with what looks like fabric spray on crap overtop of them. Could get them EASILY off an other f-body or just repaint your own (I'm repainting mine.)
