I did the light work myself(I broke my back 3 years ago) and my brother did the rest.I got the carpet material from a shop on the net,you can get it in rolls at wal-mart but that stuff is pretty cheap and the color will vary with each roll. You have to use a non-backed carpet so it can be formed. To avoid seems where two pieces meet(im still working on this)cut the carpet at a angle so one overlaps the other. If your gonna use the rear shoulder belts with a car that didnt come with them(pre-89?)this is where it gets fun.Welding will be required to be safe. You need all the brackets from the donor car.Just follow the directions on this site for the split seat swap, and then measure for and weld in the rear seat belt retainer brackets to the wheel humps as in the donor car.Alot of patience and time.Take your time and clean everything, check everything, and new carpet is a must,it really brightens things up.thanks.NOTE,im assuming and hoping these belts are gonna pass inspection?

I just bought black interior pieces from a '91 TA to replace the old ones in my '83 TA. The new pieces have the shoulder seatbelts. My car had the lap ones. Is it possible to just use the old lap seat belts? Do I need to weld the new ones in? Can I just make a dummy set just to look nice, and then just use the old ones? If not how hard exactly is it to do? I can probably weld the pieces on my car along with the help of my tech teacher in my school car shop. Do you have any instructions on what to exactly do? I would appreciate as much help as I can possibly get. Please feel free to email me at jimbo1184@hotmail.com. I am receiving these parts sometime early next week. Thanks.

the steering wheel is a grant "rally"signature series. The horn button imade using the emblem off my iroc wheel.I painted the grant button black then I had to sand down and cut the backside of the emblem to match the curve in the grant horn button.thanks
