Any One Experience Window Suck Out?
Yesterday, at 75 mph in VERY heavy wind the driver's side window sucked out--damn weird. Didn't happen when I changed directions.

Sucked out? As in leterally removed from the car? If so....that's scary. Hope it doesn't happen to me.

Sorry that I was more specific. The window was yanked outward from beneath the weather stripping to allow wind in.

The August 1987 issue of Motor Trend did a top speed test of American cars. Their GTA Trans Am had this problem. "Interior noise level was quite good until approximately 100 mph, where the pressure differential inside/outside the car caused the drivers window to blow away from its rubber seal-suddenly it got very noisy."
mine does the same thing, except it only does it when I roll the window up. anything above about 50, when I go to roll the window, I have to first roll down the passenger side a little bit, roll up the drivers side, and then roll the pass. side back up. I think it may just be that the supports or whatever for the window may be loose and just need to be tightened. havent taken the door panel off yet to find out. it really is a pain though. also, every now and then when I close the door with the window all the way up it wont seat in the weather seal right and just stays on the outside part of it. same problem maybe?

my car does this at about 125. Happened again last night. I dont really think that there is a fix for it except to get new wether stripping and to make sure the window is sealing really well. Some of my weather stripping is ripped up and it allows some air to get in which I think allowed the glass to be pulled out. Anyone ever came up with a fix for this? Could just run a window net with the window open, but you get a lot of drag from that.
