I did the same thing before. I had a friend pull on the top right of the drivers side window.. then I shoved a piece of small wood between the window and car.. then got a long rod and bent it so that i could push the lock open from the inside of the car using the rod... worked great! but a pro locksmith is just as easy =)

In the event that anyone does this again I can draw a diagram of a tool I use for most cars. I can be made from 1/8" stainless (takes about 4-1/2') It goes under the window and comes out on the inside. Then you can flip the lock switch.

So, do you own a chopshop or something? lol. Dang, I need an alarm if it's THAT easy to get into my car without keys.
alarms on most all cars are pointless; no one looks at them any more. an alarm on a camaro is almost completely useless, the windows pull back with no problem, never leave anything you think is valuable in a camaro; and always have some sort of vehicle disabler........otherwise breaking into a camaro is as easy as leaving your windows down in any car!
I drive a tow truck. I do more lockouts than most locksmiths. On a good day I can be in most GM vechicles in 60 seconds. On a bad day 4-5 min, never more than 10. I did a 2001 ford focus today in about 45 seconds. It's not hard when you have the tools. Anybody can buy them, look in a snap-on or mac catalog. The good kits even have a book that has diagrams and instructions. They tell you what tool to use and what place and direction where you need to go.
Alarms aren't meant to scare off a car thief. Mine is to let me know that someone is screwing with my car. If someone wants your car there is nothing you can do. I have friends that do repo work and I've seen them in action. There is a tool on the market that snaps "the club" off your steering wheel in 30 seconds. I've done private property impounds and never had a prob. A 21' flatbed tow truck with a 10,000lb winch doesn't care what you do. If you drag them on the right way the alarm never goes off.

Anyone who's car has a rear hatch release button on there console can break in VERY easily. Using a meter stick, jam the end into the top of the window and pry out with your fingers until you can slip the meter stick down to the center console and push the button. Then just crawl in through the back. The whole thing takes about 30 Seconds. Its no wonder why 3rd gens were the most frequently stolen cars of the 80's...

I locked my keys in my car once at school and I didnt want to call a locksmith so I borrowed a screwdriver set from the shop and stuck it in my passenger side keyhole, and then with a small awl I popped the retaining clip off the back of the lock. then all I had to do was turn the entire lock and i was in. I destroyed the keyhole, though, so I bought a new pair of door locks from Autozone for $14.99. I didnt mind breaking the lock, because they were really worn out and easy to pick. My friend scared the crap outta me by picking the lock with a paperclip.
