Yes - thirdgen resource... not to be confused with thirdgenparts... Anyhow, go to their website www.fenderent.com and it should be under "services". They are in Charlotte, NC. I think the cost is about $180.

Hmmm. This spring I paid $60 for a leather steering wheel out of a 1991 T/A in VGC. This did NOT include the airbag, the one on my OEM wheel was fine and a direct bolt-in. I assume you can find similar wheels for the same or less, so why bother going to the expense of recovering a wheel?

I just priced mine here in Houston and the upholsterer quoted me $250 for a recovering. I thought that was quite high.

I'm currently looking for an excellent condition replacement; if that fails, I'll either pay the $250 or buy a MOMO Fighter.

I've looked into this quite a bit...the IROC leather covered wheel is an expensive proposition however you look at it. New they cost nearly 500 bucks, used they can be had for everywhere from a few bucks to 250 or more. Recovering will run between 180 and 225 dollars, there are several places that will do it. The best prices used are gonna be found on Ebay or from Thomas at House of Camaro, he wants 100 bucks for a primo condition wheel, less for battered ones, but he doesnt often have them in perfect condition.

I have 2 of them, both kinda beat up I think what I am gonna do is get a 45 dollar custom cover from wheelskins...strip all the old gunk of one of mine and recover it myself.
