need help find this body kit

Hey guys,
I need help trying to locate this body kit. I found it in a magazine back in the early 90's and the company doesn't seem to be around any longer. Has anyone seen this kit or know where I can buy it?
Here are some pics to show you what I'm talking about. This kit was called a Firehawk body kit.

Except for the $4 wheels, the poor fitment of the rear spoiler, and the ugly two-tone paint, that isn't too bad. I like the tasteful fender bulges. They're just the right size.
Maybe just a little greasy-Corvettish...

I was just about to say that.
I like the rear but definatly needs better rims. I also don't like that front, maybe if it was painted all the same color. Hmmm...paint shop pro time!

I never liked the nose on it anyway, but to me I love the rest of the body package. The spoiler I would not get either. I like what JPrevost has done to it. Would you be able to blow that up and maybe add the arelli assassyn or arellia q's. I think this is a pretty rare kit. Again I saw it a long time ago and I have more shots of it. Does any know if I wanted to get that created from scratch who I would need to call to get the process started?

Man I would love that for my Formula. Imagine some TT 2's and a ram air hood! I'll do a search tonight for it. Some one has to know about or carry it. If not, we should see if GT Auto could do it. It'd probably be better made anyway.

That's it Jim, nice and subtle

I usually take the "do what thou will..." aproach, but I have to agree with Jim on this one.

Then again he didn't ask for opinions on how it looked so I should just keep my mouth shut

Hmm... I've never seen that before. Its not TOO bad.. I don't like the wing and I don't like the front at all. But I suppose with a single color paint job and better wheels, it could look pretty cool.

That kit is from a company called "Motion Glass." It's called the Camaro/Firebird Wide Body Kit - retails at $1295, without the spoiler. The spoiler is an additional $299.95 and is called the Turbo Wing.

They are based out of Baldwin, NY. Give them a call on their tech line at (516) 223-3172 or their order line at (800) 866-3172.

To each his own. I like the rear, has a 2nd gen twist to it. I also think there could be some imporvements, like ditching the front end piece. The sides look better than stock trim. All in all I think it could be made to look really cool and still in taste. Just imagine the whole thing in red with a normal spoiler and a ram air hood. Then put some nice wheels on and it's turned into an american custom. It is an f-body with a hint of 70's style.

Assuming the kit has to be 'bondoed'(sp?,,, never had to spell that b 4 ) to the fenders to make it seem as one solid piece,,, that's one helluva smooth job done,, especially to piant it black

One reason why I like that kit so much is that you you dont see it very often. As a matter of fact I've never seen it on another fbody. Steve I checked out your site with the catalog and they wide body kit does look alot like this one. I wish they had better pictures though instead of the black and white stuff. I order the motion catalog anyway. The one thing that really leads me to believe that its not the same is the "tear drop" swells over the rear wheel well.

Crublinghevens - does GT Autos make custom stuff like this for us. If so I will drop the cash on them now to have it made.

As far as the wing and the nose goes. I already have some other ideas ready. As a matter of fact the new nose is already sitting in my garage . I'm having a body shop up in Canada do the spoiler for me, but that's down the road yet.

Do any of you guys have experience doing fiberglass work. If the kit from Motion is not the same as this one, how hard do you guys think it would be to make this kit?

Oh yeah one last question. I'm just now starting to look at rims. I mentioned that I like the Arelli Assassyns what are our tire sizes? I know I have 16" on my GTA and I want to understand what the 16x7 and all that other stuff is. Thanks again for the help and opinions

Does anyone know if there is a place that can make a special kit like this? I've looked around town and there are not very many custom fabrication shops.
