Another question: Weather stripping
I need the weatherstripping on the driverside door, where the window meets the roof. The cheapest I found was 70 out of next gen catalog. Anywhere cheaper, I have other stuff I want more, but I need the weatherstripping. thanks

GM part # 10198207 LH Weatherstrip over door
Walk in dealer price should be about $67
If you can talk them down to wholesale price, it should be right around $50
Or if somehow, someone knows how to order a part from GMPartsDirect you could get it for $40
When it comes to things like weatherstripping I think OEM is the best way to go for fit, finish & quality but, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Hope that helps

Door Weatherstripping--Soff Seal--SFT-3016 Summit $61.19
Roof Rail Weatherstripping--Soff Seal--SFT-3101 Summit $48.95
Trunk Weatherstripping--Soff Seal--SFT-2424 Summit $18.35
That is what I bought. I haven't installed it yet but it looks real good. The Door and Roof Rail are pairs, for drivers and passengers sides.

hey i just got mine today for 10% over cost and it was $46.30 i work at a dealership so i get everything that way. its great. i spent $700 in parts in the last week, and it would normally cost 1300 so i think i got a good deal!
and go there and try to deal with them, be like you dont have it in stock, then you wont have to put it away so knock off 20% stocking fee, and the money is in and out of the door money. just call me when the truck gets here and i will come pay and get it, or pay before and then ask for a discount because you prepaid!
just some ideas

I ordered the SoffSeal door weatherstripping and while they do make a good product,, I was a bit disappointed with the fit on the ends of the doors, they seem to have made the weatherstrip a pinch too long. I also don't like the fact that the ends merely have washers in a thin skin of rubber to reinforce the hold down points for where you screw the ends into the door. Maybe it's just my 'normal' luck of getting the bads ones of the batach, but it does reinforce my liking the OEM weatherstrip much better

Well, sorry to bring this post back from the dead, but I'm just getting around to it and just wondering if anyone has any new thoughts on brands or prices. Thanks

My passenger door leaks a little and so does my drivers side t-top. How hard is it to install this stuff? I don't wanna make anything worse.
