Will any 3rd gen console fit in any 3rd gen car?
I really want to get rid of this 82 one, can any of them be installed in its place?
If so, does anyone have pictures of their console please

I am almost positve, anyone 3rd gen console will fit. Do a search, lots of guys have put 4th gen console on their cars. Looks real sweet.

Can you still buy new 3rd gen console's?
If so, what is the difference in price between the 3rd and 4th?

I just put a 87 console in my 83. It worked well, it mostley bolted up. At the back passenger side it didn't cover up the carpet and I had to mess with it. I had the carpet out at some point, so that might have something to do with that.
