I got some seats from a fourth gen camaro. I bought a camaro convertible (for sale) and switched interiors. I also got the power mirrors off the donor car. I got a new shifter boot, new chrome t-handle, new cd player and white face overlays. The before pics are actually after pics from the donor car. So what do you think?



The seatbelts are not compatible from 91 to 92 and I have not yet purchased the tonneau cover belts.

The swap was fairly straight foward. I bought a set of seats a few months ago for 150. I had my eye on the donor car for about a year, but the owner wouldn't lower the price. I guess he finally got sick of me calling and let me buy it. I just gutted both cars and then re-assembled. All parts swap fine except for the rear belts. I bought new lap belts from tacreations, but haven't had the cash for the shoulder belts. Here are some pics of the rest of the car.

ahhhhhh...RS vert...3950? hmmm, sounds a lil high, one selling around me for 3600 obo. How good condition is it? i may be interested.

 

all original paint which is in very good condition. It could stand to be painted on the hood since the original owner touched up dings with what looks like the wrong color and the paint on the tonneau cover and spoiler is not in the best condition because it doesn't hold up as well as the paint on the body. New tires/brakes/front-end rebuild/struts/alternator/power window motor. Top is original but in great condition, very slight discoloring in rear window. 16 inch wheels. power everything except seats and mirrors. remote keyless entry with alarm. FACTORY CD PLAYER. and as you can see, clean interior

cincinnati, ohio. but get this. We had it in the paper for 4500 obo and a couple of people called, but no one looked at it. We put it at my dad's friend's car lot and told him that we needed 4000 for it. He sold it in 2 days for 5500. can you believe that, he has the car for 2 days and makes himself 1500 because some dumb kid didn't look through the paper before shopping the dealers. oh well, we got our money back and the swap cost us nothing, so i can't complain.
