Taking apart front turn signal lense assembly

What is the easiest way to remove clear lense from black plastic housing? I need to clean and polish mine. Thanks.

I thought of doing this myself.(mine has yellowed bad on the inside) I really don't think there is a way to do it without ruining them. I'm just gonna break down and buy new ones.

There is an extensive thread but IDK how to link from my phone.
I know articwhitez did a how-to with great step-by-step pics & info.

IIRC
Dremmel with a super fine cut off.
Sorry but you will have to do search.

Found the thread you mentioned. Apparently, the lens is just glued where it butts up against the back housing and not on the inside of the lip. This looks do-able.

Thats it!
Sorry I couldnt link.
You can do it... I believe in your abilities...lol...
Dont forget the blade // wheel artic mentions. Aparently its a very fine tooth so as not to chip and fracture the plastic.
Good luck

Oh, so my skills are that apparent, even over the web? My only concern in doing this before was whether or not it was glued on the inside of that lip. The straight in cut is no problem, but a cut 90* from that would be impossible without damage of some kind.
I just got a craftsman all in one cutter (like a dremmel on steroids) and been itching to try it out. I think I'd try the small cut off disks first, have like 50 of them, and a way finer cut than that saw blade. I have nothing to lose really, planned on replacing them anyhow.

Ours are so old & have broken mounting tabs, so the Christmas list gets added to!! Lol!!

I will R & R the tail lights in spring tho.

LMK how the craftsman works out. IDK which to get
Dremel or craftsman.
