aftermarket headlights?
Anyone found an alternative to stock headlights?? Found some projectors with hids on eBay for 168. Anyone do anything like that or any other suggestions?

Not too bad, you'll need to cut out the bucket that is behind the headlights to make room for the projector back. I did with a dremel with them still installed no the car. Took about 45 minutes to do both.
Then wiring them up is super easy with the kits that retrofit source has. I think for everything took about hour and half to get them all installed.

But if you can find someone to make them for you, it will make things a lot easier and get you the best light possible. Since mine are bi-xenon, there is a shield that is down in low beam, and then when you go to high beam it raises and lights up everything. It's such an improvement over stock, and looks nice when they aren't on too.

Re: aftermarket headlights?
Not really for Camaros but I just bought these LED headlights for my Trans Am. They're the JW Speaker model 8900, basically the top of line option for aftermarket bird headlights out there right now. Usually retailing for $1000 but I found a vendor on ebay that sold a pair for $600. They're on their way right now and will upload pictures of them installed!

You have to do some cutting to the rad support behind the headlights. I did a write up on how to do it.

Re: aftermarket headlights?
I got some cheap ebay headlights and they do look good but their performance leaves much to be desired. They actually need the high beams on for good light output. Well, the ones I bought, anyway.
