I didn't think this was entirely relevant but I thought of that but my father remembers similar ones on the car lots when he was younger. Perhaps a dealer option. I'm really not sure. Just curious if anyone had seen anything similar

I'm going to guess White as well. If your car still has its RPO sticker and you can post a photo of it, we can decode it for you and tell you for sure.

Did your father smoke a lot of weed when he was younger? The only cars painted like that would be a custom job by an owner. No dealer would put a car with that paint scheme on it to sell as it would only appeal to one person!

Re: Need help finding out the original paint scheme on this car
I doubt the car is a Player's car. The paint schemes were usually simple and clean. Also, the body plug in the door jamb should be black, so the fact that it's painted tells me a previous owner did an inexpensive paint job. The Player's cars weren't undercoated and the body plug was installed because a hole was drilled to apply undercoating.

Thanks guys had a lot of input coming from different people around here and it's just nice to know I know were to go when it comes to paint. It will probably stay purple for a while until I can get my 350 together and find a better tranny and do new clutch packs in the rear end Hoping to trade a 91 ttop rolling body for something along the way but anyway I've tangented thank again
