If the interior is as clean as the exterior and there is no rust I'd say you could get 7-8k to the right buyer. Being a Z28 helps, and the 82-84's just aren't as common as the later years (I think they look better, but I may be biased lol).

Here is the interior, and I also got the stripes put back on this summer.

Cool, beautiful car. Thats the color combo my '83 originally was.

An before I go any further I would suppose this car would be more like in restoration than complete original. There is no mods in this car, only OEM replacement parts.

Thanks for the responses, appreciate it. I believe these cars will eventually be worth more, than they are now. Year after year I'm seeing fewer and fewer of them on the roads. At most the frankenstein styled ones, are seen the most.

I think easily $7,000 to the right buyer. Mine has T Tops and only 61,000 original miles. I am 100 % stock / original but I am starting to show wear definitely ready for paint and I've been offered $7,000...don't sell it

Beautiful '84.
LG4, auto, power windows, hardtop, tan custom interior, black paint with gold trim. All great things. Well maybe the LG4 isn't great. I dunno. Never drove an LG4 to know. But since the car is so clean and solid and has the rest of the right options and looks, $6-7,000 sounds fair in the current market.
I don't know if no AC will matter. I've yet to own a thirdgen with working air. Black paint will get hot.
Interest in the early style Z should increase over time. I know at shows they are generally rare compared to IROCs and large ground effects cars. And many of those cars are modified. The early cars are well proportioned in my opinion.
Todd's car sounds great, too.

Yeah, don't plan on selling. Already willed to my 11 yr boy. I started driving this one when I was 5 on my dad's lap. Ya stock is the way to go, to many are getting modified. I've put on few miles with mine, it was 82000 when I bought it from my dad. But I told him I was gonna put the tlc into it while it's getting driven. On the other hand it's not my daily driver either.

I think the rear wiper is always cool, despite taking away from the general lines of a car. Sort of. Is an indicator of the times. I'd happily have a rear wiper car.
Autobahn. Pretty cool to hear that.
I've wondered if the vents provide better interior air flow than the AC related venting. I'm thinking yes it would, and would be nice to have.

[QUOTE=PurelyPMD;6190087]Nice car and that interior is stunning for the miles.
I hope you aren't asking the value because you're considering selling it - I have a feeling your father & brother would beat you![/QUOT
Thanks. The answer is no, not selling, the car is already willed to my 11yr old son. Probably right on father and brother, never had intention on selling. I've had my toys, two drivers and two parts cars,(third gens). This one is my gem. I've always wanted it, but was never in position financially to buy it when, my dad was trying to sell it. He wouldn't budge on price, to anyone. Until I offered what he was asking for it 5,000, then he dropped it to 3,000.
