Front cover - am I missing something?

There are 6 evenly spaced tabs riveted to the bottom of my front bumper. The second picture shows them best, all right on the front edge. Does anyone know what these are for?

They're holding on your chin spoiler/front ground fx.

Re: Front cover - am I missing something?

These are on the bottom of the ground fx. Are you saying there should be something under this?

Does each tab have a bolt in it or is that just a trick of the picture?

Drew posted that exploded diagram, it probably answered your question.

Re: Front cover - am I missing something?

No bolts in those tabs. They're riveted to the bottom of the ground fx and the other end is open. I found this and thought it was the answer with the 6 holes in it, but its not what Drew posted.

#16 makes more sense. Thanks Drew.

I'll have to crawl under my car to be sure, but isn't there a curved plastic panel that essentially seals the bottom of the spoiler, and ends at the lower radiator support that attaches to those tabs?

Re: Front cover - am I missing something?

oh, I was looking at #16 as being "hollow". That big square area is a solid piece of plastic or is it a big hole?
Regardless, should we be able to see where the top side mounts in the pictures I posted above?

Re: Front cover - am I missing something?

your first pic shows it better but the top mounts up behind the bumper brace , #31. you see a loose piece of plastic with bolt hole spots in your pick right behind the support , the 2 pieces of plastic fit together and bolt up behind the support.

Re: Front cover - am I missing something?

#15 and 16 overlap, and the four bolts thread into the rear flange of the impact bar. #16 is a curved piece of solid plastic that helps direct cooling air up and into the radiator.

I'm about 10min off I95 in the northeastern corner. A few miles south of Pa and about 20 from Del.

i'm right on the va side of the woodrow wilson bridge , how far of a drive is that for you

if it's a close enough drive your welcome to the panel. i have handful of other parts i'll be tossing out. let me know if there's anything else your looking for , i may have it and make the drive more worthwhile
