Like the title says, I need to know what color this is pic I have is an s10 but I think camaro came this color too, anyhow I want to paint my car this color . There is no metallic in it, the code is worn off the truck in the pic, I looked in the whay color to paint thread but didn't find it, thanks
I can't think of a Camaro blue that wasn't metallic. Could be wrong. ...either way, there's no for us to tell from the picture. Best bet would be to look through color swatches from a paint shop and choose that way. Or hit up and S10 forum.
What year s10? If it's original paint it shouldn't be hard to figure out the color.
the truck is late 80s I'll have to ask the owner to know exactly. I do know that is original paint, I work in a paint shop and have been through every swatch we have for gm no luck, I'll check with my paint supplier
I had time today and mixed a little of the 9662 pastel blue and it is definitely too light, I'll get a few more pics of the truck but I won't be daylight when I'm home till the weekend. And it's hard to get a pic without snow here right now, here's a pic of the paint I mixed today

The only non-metallic color blue I remember from back then was the dark blue. All the lighter blues, except maybe some special order colors, were metallic. I worked in GM body shops from 88-98, and 2000 until last year...
The metallic flakes used in those light blues was a fine or medium flake and once oxidized, they can look like a non-metallic color.
