Firebird/Camaro with a el camino truck bed style

I have recently found a picture of a rear molding that replaces the 3rd gen rear hatch with a truck bed like item, but I cant seem to find any information about who made them, where to get one or anything...... so any and all information you guys might have about this item would be greatly appreciated

I have no idea. I've seen the CL ad before.

When it rains...where does the water go? Does it just become a swimming pool?

A little gas and some matches would clear that right up. Looks like most of the fiberglass stuff from Choo Choo Customs and their ilk. Back in the 90's there were a lot of really crazy fiberglass parts being made. Most of them weren't terribly popular.

Looks like it would eat up the back seat area as well. The forward facing panel isn't finished. Can't imagine how it looks actually on a car.

That looks ridiculously cool. I'd never buy one, but definitely weird-cool.

Ya, I'm interested to see what it looks like on somebody else's car.

a couple years ago,a member from Finland posted an "El Camino"-like conversion of an '85 z28:all metal with tail lamps from some European car-conversion done so car could be sold as a "truck" in that country
