Window stoppers
The plastic stopper piece that bolts through the glass cracked and broke in two and now my window goes up past the weatherstripping. I have had loads of trouble getting my window to seal after putting in new weatherstrips and especially now that I have no up stopper. Where can I get a replacement for these other than some equally brittle crappy ebay part?
Also, what is the best way to do it without damaging the glass itself?

Re: Window stoppers
Skinny I'm not sure about those I didn't see those on my car. Maybe they are just missing altogether lol.
The ones I'm looking for are the white ones John posted. Willing to take you up on the offer. I was curious if there any reproduction parts I can get online but my searches didn't show anything aside of the round black ones. Only since the way they cracked and fell into the bottom of the door means 35 year old plastic I'd like to replace with something newer.

Re: Window stoppers
The 'stoppers' that skinny z posted get mounted to the very bottom of the window glass. They stop the window from traveling too low inside the door and are often rotted/broken into little pieces. Send me a PM if you still need the up-stop and I'll reply with my info later this afternoon.

Re: Window stoppers
Okay that makes sense. I had bought a couple of those a while back when I was ordering everything for my restore, but never did anything with them. I'll go check it out later. Didn't have any problems with the windows until I saw the up stopper break in half. Those are the ones I'll need for sure. Thanks!!

Did you ever find these parts? I’m in the same predicament!!...she’s at the body shop now for a window adjustment and he says he’s stuck till we can find these pieces. Have no idea what they’re called or where to get them!

Re: Window stoppers
I discovered these somewhere in the car 2 years ago. (Never mind the metal ring...still don’t know what that’s for). I was able to find them on eBay and I think they’re called Window Up Stops

Yes.....got it. I need one of those too. I've got a part number for it written down somewhere at home, but it's discontinued. I'm sure there's a gazillion of 'em out there, but it's such a random piece, no one lists it. Just gotta find a guy parting out who's willing to dig it out for ya. -or ebay, lol.

The pair I found on eBay are new, 3D printed nylon/carbon fiber. The seller’s name is “flowstateman”. Hope this helps!

Nope....can't find that seller. ...of course, eBay doesn't exactly make it easy. I know he can make more, but strange that I can't even find the guy. Weird.

They answered a question on eBay within the same day...
see if you can look up under “completed items”?
maybe he doesn’t check Facebook as often?

Re: Window stoppers
I looked for him on eBay and was able to locate his account. He doesn't have any of those listed. I found his website and sent him an email but did not get a response. There's a member of these boards that makes each piece we need for the window including the up stops. He also prints door lock guides. HIs username is MDeRoxtro. I ordered the entire kit through his eBay store. It came quick and everything looked pretty good. If you're still looking for these, I'd recommend contacting him.
