The PO had this gta for 26 years. Somewhere down the line he ordered a ram air hood for it and installed it from American sports car design Inc he also has the air box for it but never had the guts to cut the bottom of the hood to make it functional. The front of the cowls are opened but it is not opened on the underside. Can someone send me some pictures of the underside of their ram air hood so I know where to drill it open. Also any advice is greatly appreciated.( I thought about just installing the airbox and putting caulk on the lip of it to make the box imprint on the underside of the hood to know where to dremel it out. I included the photos of the directions for the airbox install.

 

From what I see online looks like most ram air hoods for 3rd gens are just cut here. I guess I was just expecting the airbox to seal over like my 00 ls1 trans am does.
also curious if anyone has had rain issues in their filters

 

Don't have the answers, but hopefully someone will post some more info so we can both learn. Hope you'll post your "after" photos too.
