T top edge

Has anyone come up with a good sealer to use here where I drew the blue line? Something thin and UV resistant.
I have butyl rubber that would thin out and seal well but its just too soft and sticky.

Was sealed to the glass when made. Tape off both sides and use windshield urethane in it. Not sure how UV proof it is tho

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is where some of my leaks are coming from. Windshield urethane might be a good idea.
Something for a caulking gun would be great.
I'll check it out. Thanks!

Re: T top edge

Flip the ttop over and remove everything you can. You'll see how its sealed up.
you can use electrical tape over seams to check for leaks

Looked at that but doesn't seem real promising for UV resistance.
3M 730 UV sounds like a winner.

Re: T top edge

I put RTV in there a decade ago and it's still there.
Was one of my first attempts at closing up some of the leaks, though in hindsight I don't think this particular operation changed anything.

Re: T top edge

That's the other side of the edge. He's looking at it from the glass side (from the car's center outwards) and the lip has no influence on that gap, sadly.
