Did the Camaro rear lip style spoiler change over the 3rd gen run? My '89 has a broken left corner piece and after getting one from a salvage yard that looked the same I got it home and realized it was slightly different. Mainly it's slightly skinnier and the holes don't line up. Classic Industries just lists one replacement spoiler for '82-92, but there had to be more than one style. What would the cutoff years have been for the lip spoiler style change?
The wider spoilers are the ones with the built in 3rd brake light. That would be '87-'90. '82-'86 had the smaller spoiler and then the '91-'92 RS I believe also had the smaller spoiler since the brake light moved to inside the rear hatch glass.

Thanks. That's good to know.
I'd like to get rid of my spoiler brake light, partly because the wiring is missing for it. Either that or just get an aftermarket spoiler, if there is so a thing that doesn't cost a fortune like the Hawk ones. I've always thought these factory lip spoilers were just a little too short. I doubt they produced much downforce, unlike the 2nd gen f-body ones did (which were designed for Trans Am racing).
I've got these spoiler pieces from my white '88 basket case Iroc I had about 10 year's ago. Have the wiring harness too (portion from the decklid to the lamp) but it would have to be repaired.

I would only need the left corner piece. I think I'm just going to fiberglass over the 3rd brake light area so I don't have to worry about the wiring.
The package was an homage to 2ndgen Trans Ams, and it also came with wheel well "spats," like 2ndgens TAs had; 2ndgen Camaros had them too.
You said you might prefer a taller spoiler, and this one is. And you said you like the 2ndgen spoiler. Since you've only got one good side piece on your car, and you might fill in the 3rd brake light anyway, then this one might be worth considering, if you're willing to remove the rest of your car's spoiler.
