lug?

you can get them from many different auto parts stores. might have to beat it out, or have it pressed out and in though.

Heh, well, I've always driven around with one lug missing from each wheel, when I bought the car it had a locking lug on each wheel... and they took um off and never gave um to me, didn't know anything bout that then though. So I finally went and got and entire set. But last night I was trying to install my Shocks and Struts I got, and it was like 2:30 in the morn and I was trying to turn it the wrong way...... and it didn't wanna go. So I kept trying, and finally, POP! I was lieing out in the middle of my driveway on my back, and knew exactly what had happened. So I just layed there for like 10 mins wondering what I was gonna do. So then I got up and pulled a lug out of my new set and had to get my bearing back.... so I spun it both ways on the Stud.... and I had been pulling the wrong way. So, now the stud is gone..... and I need ta get somthing to replace it..... what is it I get? Heh, I finally gave up on the Struts and just put the back shocks in (Broke another bolt in-half back there, but it was what was holding the shock into the bottom brace, and my new shocks came with a new one... so it was ok ) and its nice but, It still feels ULTRA nasty in the front, and it sucks. BTW, the old shocks in the back just kinda fell closed and never came back up Thank *** I got the new ones. Tonight! I attempt the Struts again! (Have ta figure out how to get the damn Caliper off, only thing I got is an alan wrench that BARELY fits. And can't get and tourque on it.) And this time, MORE CAFFINE, so I can remain coherent!
If you can tell me what I need to do to replace the stud, I'd appreciate it!

ThanX

Adam

When you replace your front shocks, you might consider getting an alignment for safty purposes...

HA, at least your stud snapped.....you get get new ones pressed in farily cheaply. My lugs got stuck on there and it to 10 sec of pounding from a 3/4 impact gun to get one off, then a breaker bar with a 5 foot pole and some serious pounding from a hammer to get the last one off. I spend over 2 hours trying to get the front lugs off my car. Take it from me. Go the auto parts store and buy some good SOLID lugs, not the ones with the crappy tin covers like our stock lugs.

EDIT: just read the rest of your post...I STILL THINK YOU SHOULD DO THIS...save you from future headaches.
