Yeah - I have them and there was a noticable difference - it's worth getting them if you use the car for autocross or something like that.

Are you talking about SS hard lines or SS-braided flexible lines?
SS hard lines are not worth it unless it's a show car. The braided lines are. IMO, of course. Hard lines can be had from finelines.com. Flexible lines from Earl's can be had from spohn.net

I have them and IMO the best part of these things...AN fittings. Makes working on stuff SOOO much easier if they have to come back apart for some reason.
You can buy kits online, but typically expect about $75-115 depending on where you get the stuff. The lines are the cheap part, they kill you on the adapters and other misc. fittings needed.

It's http://www.finelinesinc.com/
I have their SS rear on my TTA and they are great always looks brand new. Also have the front set waiting to be installed this winter sometime as my OEM lines have had it. Go SS not that much more expensive. Also running the Earl's briaded SS lines all around got them from Summit for lik $95 or so makes a big difference.

Bringing this one back to the top.
My application: Mostly daily driver thru rush-hour traffic. Occasonal road race/auto-x.
Front hoses replaced 3 years ago.
Rear hose AFAIK orginal.
Booster 3 years old
Master Cylinder, 1.5 years old
rear cylinders, less then year old
Pads are fine.
J65 porptioning valve on order.
Peddle still travels about halfway down before car starts slowing.
I'm on a budget also. Should I spring for the 3 piece set while I have the system broke open, or just replace the rear one and call it done? Would I really benifit from the stainless set? I have heard on daily driving they tend to wear out faster?

i've had mine on for about 8 months i did all 5 lines. (4 wheel disc)
I have nothing but praise for them pedal feels alot better car doesn't do the sled anymore, thanks to a proportioning valve. And it was all about $125. You really can't beat it. Try summitracing thats where i got mine from they have that over $100 free shipping quite often. and generally only 3 days for your order max. Just my personal experience with earls lines, but i replaced lines from an 87 also so it did help.
