CHickenman, can you give me a little info on that front setup? I'm trying to put together a setup for a '69 Chevy truck and Camaro and was curious as to which part number you used for the hub section. I need to check dimentions.

Thanks!

C5 fronts. LS1 rears. I love em. Some guys squack about caliper spread and other issues for all out racing but these things are literally LIGHT YEARS above the factory offerings. Especially noticable at speed! Whoot :lala:

Isn't the bolt circle diameter on the truck 5x5"? Is Camaro a '69 as well? 5x4.75" for Camaro I believe.

Complete info available here:

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...ghlight=Nascar

Edit: BTW, I would not recommend the "WilWood Cold Stopper" pads ( Tan in color). They are not acceptable for track use. Not enough retardation. OK for street pads though.

Yes, a '69 Camaro (not mine)and yes the pattern on the truck is 5 on 5". That's why I need a whole custom setup. Can't use C5 parts like I had hoped since the truck hub is too big to fit behind it. I can use a C5 caliper since I can get a rotor 1.25" thick. I know the inner hub hole is larger as is the outer bearing..it's a bonzer! I don't know what I will end up doing yet but I was curious as to the specs of your hub. What's your inner hub diameter? The truck hub will have to be about 7" inside diameter.

Hey ed how about a heavy Chevy rotor? Mid seventies full size Impalas and wagons used the 5 on 5 and the bearings were large. Might be the same as truck. Worth a look into if you haven't already.

Chickenman nice set up man! That car must be a hoot to run. Don't sell it

Inner hub diameter 6.51". Wilwood has all the specs at their site:

http://www.wilwood.com/Products/003-...order_info.pdf

Why such a large ( 7" ) inside diameter? That's huge and may be a problem.

Yes they are bigger than the C4 stuff but its not the size of the caliper thats so much the issue with fitting the C5's on the 16" wheels as it is the large diameter of the rotor so no they wont clear 16" wheels. At least none that I know of.

Yes, C5 calipers are larger, and no the C5s won't fit 16" wheels..The C4 HDs DO fit 16" wheels tho.

Will a C5 caliper on an LS1 rotor fit a 16 x 8 N96 IROC wheel?
