RTFC Brake Build up
I love it.
I have used the search feature , but can't seem to find out how you did this. Or you may not have posted details.
I would like to duplicate this if it is effective for road racing.
I am currently using a baer set up on all 4 but would like to go to the thicker roter and be able to buy cheaper brake pad compounds and rotors. I have fluid fade now if I drive at 11/10 but none at 8/10.
Building a new track only car with dual wilwood master cylinders and balance bar. I have wilwoods on rear w 9in ford, but am still considering front options.
Any help appreciated.

Thank you very much!
I'm sure I will enjoy the long story. I have not read a novel this year and am behind on my reading quota.
I will have fun reading and learning later tonight.

RTFC,
I called glogal west and asked about the G body aluminum hub. They said that they would not sell me a hub but I would have to buy the whole G body kit.
Do you have some special connection or did I get the wrong guy on the phone?
I would really like to duplicate your set up!
You have the only 1.25 wide 13 inch rotor that I have seen and your kit uses off the shelf replacement parts which will come in handy when racing. (ie.) I can pack spares and pick different pad compunds that the prices do not rival that of the space program.
Any additional help appreciated.

BRAKE BUILD UP
Dean, I hope not being too nosy. But I am also interested in doing both front & rear brakes like you did. Just interested in any further info you may have concerning hubs and brackets.I've done brake jobs etc. but nothing as involved as this. Thanx, other threads kinda long. P.S. CONGRATS ON YOUR SET UP

All the info on parts and specs are in the thread links above, I am not going to repeat all the info here.
Hubs are Global West
Brackets are custom made through EMachineShop.com
I have no special connections- I just called the places like everyone else can.
Thank you for the complements

Here's a copy of the e-mail I sent you:
Hey, sorry, I have been out of town for a while.
The guy to talk to at Global West is Doug. I don't know anyone there personally but have spoken to both Doug (I believe he's the owner, or at least product manager) and I kind of know a guy named Bill who I had been an acquaintance of years ago racing for GRA that turns out works part time for Global West as a design engineer. But I do not know either of them at all to request any kind of favors. I had just called up and asked for Doug initially when I inquired on the G-body billet alum hubs. He had told me at that time he had one set on the shelf that was for an order and he had intentions of making another production run to restock his supply after they move to Riverside and kindly took my order I guess. He never gave me an grief and they were shipped to my doorstep about 2 months later for $500 plus tax and shipping including the bearings and races.
