Transmission: T5

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt Posi 3.73

Brake problems on an 86 Z28

My 86 Z28 has 4wheel disc brakes. (It was produced in June of 86, incase they changed something in the production year.) The parking brake was disconnected. Does anyone know if there have been any reported problems with 86s and the rear discs?

Ok, well I just found that there was some sort of recall on this. So can I take it to my local Chevy Dealership and they will fix it, according to the recall?

Unless the car has already had the recall done they should do it no problem. If they don't just rebuild the calipers with the recall kit, you'll find the part number on here somewhere...: search for "recall kit"
