LT1 rear disc
will swapping over a LT1 rear disc setup (rotors, PBR calipers, backing plates, ebrake cables, etc) bolt right upto my '88 iroc rear end? If not, what mods will need to be done?
Also, what does PBR stand for? Thanks!

oh ya.. I've got a stock 10-bolt rear on my car currently.., plus I'd need to ensure that the stock 16" rims would still fit.

Thanks Ed. Which brake lines would I need to purchase (part number?), or would a mechanic just fab some up? Also would you happen to have a correct proportional valve I could purchase? (from a 89-92 I think?)
Thanks for answering my questions. I thought PBR was a material or metal blend, not a brand name.. duh!

If you need just the rear lines, let me know. You can't just buy rear sets, you'd have to get the whole front and rear set, and I have 2 sets of just rear lines on hand. Of course, they're Earl's lines, best out there. You won't need different axle lines so I won't address those.
I have 2 early 1LE prop valves that will fit your '88, also new. LMK...e-mail me or PM.

4th gen ebrake cables most likely won't work since the retaining clips on the body are at different locations.

So an 1LE prop valve will be correct for a 93 LT1 rear disc setup? I've seen the ones by Wildwood and Summit, but if there is one that is preset, and works correctly, then I would prefer that.
Would the 93 master cylinder bolt right up too? It looks better then the old style our cars have.
I have seen what Zepher is talking about, they go into a bracket that sets differently than our cars. But it looks like if you just save the cables on that bracket that ties them together, you might be able to just attatch that to the adjustment slider for our cars.
