C5 Corvette caliper question

I'm putting the c5 calipers on my front and using hawk brake pads. The pads did not come with the rattle clips. Do I need to use these? Where can I get just the clips if I need them? Thanks,Josh

Yes, you must use the clips. They are for noise control but more importantly they guide the pads for even wear.

Good luck finding them, I ended up just buying a set of stock GM pad's from Dal on top of the Hawk's pad's in order to get the clips beacuse I didn't have time to search.. AFAIK there is no way to get the clips alone (from GM at least)

Clips aren't available by themselves, you'll have to buy pads or happen upon a set to get them. If you don't mind used, I have a set, maybe two, on hand...yours for shipping cost but I'll need to check.

I will take a set of those clips if you have a spare set.

Advanced auto has what they call a brake hardware kit. It had all the clips and dust boots for the pins. I think it was 15$ for both sides.
