100% lost and need all new lines.....please help
Ok so I am building my car from the ground up and want all new brake lines. ALL NEW. So I can call inline tube and they sell a nice stainless set that says it replaces all the hard lines and they even say that they sell new bubber lines too.
I am running aftermarket everything exept brakes, but my k-member needs different routing sorta.
Should I just order everything I can from Inlinetube and bent the new lines a bit? Also for my linelock. I need lines to go to that. The summit install kit proved to be useless. How do you install the linelock? Ugh, please help
Thanks

I went with Fine lines per someone else's recomendation on the boards here. Good people, helped me out and sent me the lines even though they were behind in making new ones. Not sure what you are asking though. If you have converted to the newer rear brakes get everything for a 91 or 92 for the rear. The fronts will have to be ordered based on which prop you have as GM changed the nut thread.

My car is origionally a 91, so i guess I have the "newer stuff" allready and a stock propotioning valve.
I will check out their website.
How much did it all set up back in the end??

I just did all new brake lines for my car. Do you need it to look factory? I just did mine by hand. Its really an easy job and I installed line lock and a different prop valve while I was at it. Instead of running the brake line on the k member run it along the fire wall. Thats how mustangs are and it makes it nice not having it on the k member.

i did all mine by hand too. added a wilwood prop valve and biondo line lock, as well as routed the front right line to the firewall. the worst part about doing them by hand is getting the flare down. i will try and get pics tomorrow

Fine lines and inlive tube sells it all for about 200 bucks. For the price I think I might just call them and odder everything I can to re-do the lines.

To install all new lines did anyone have to lift the motor or anything like that, or is does it all go in fairly easily?

I would imagine for the front right one you would. IIRC the line is held to the crossmember by a few clips. May be possible to do it with the motor in the car, I didnt want to be bothered at the time so I left it. At the very least I would imagine you have to lift the motor like you said

Hmmmm... thats gonna suck, but no big deal i guess. Hopefully all the tubular stuff I have will give me more room.
Oh well. I ordered the lines, now i just need to get the rubber ones that go to the rear calipers.
