Line Lock Question
Quick question for you guy using line locks.
Is there anyway to make the linelock just disable the rear brakes so I can have full control of the burn out by power braking without screwing up my rear brakes?

Ah yea, in a sense that`s what a line lock does, locks the fronts so the rear are "disabled" allowing you to do the burn out without taxing the driveline and rear brakes.

Yes but I dont want to lock the front wheels at a 30 mph roll lol so is there anyway I can just have the linelock disable the rear brakes instead of just locking the front?

Or even this will answer my question. If you enable the line lock without pressing the brakes in. Does it just disable your front brakes? Because if thats the case I could just install the line lock on the rear brake line.

Well what ever your planning on a t 30MPH it sounds like a hazard..but try looking for an adujstable proportioning valve..summit sells them for around 40$ plumb it into the rear line and route it to the inside of the car, I`ve seen guys put them in the center console, I think you`d be able to dial down the pressure where they`d be useless that way.

Your brakes are separated into two systems most of the time you install the line lock on the front system only . When you use the line lock you press your brake pedal then hold the button for the line lock. Release the brake pedal and your front brakes remain locked and the rear is free to spin. Release the button and you brakes work like normal

I'm assuming (feel free to correct me), if you don't depress the brake all the way & use the line lock, the front wheels will be partially locked, and will allow to move forward slowly...
I'm a little confused as to what you're tring to do... 30 mph roll?? from standing still or slowing down..??

I think partly depressing the brake and turning on the line lock will partially hold the front brakes on... and allow for your rolling burnout...
It's supposed to hold the pressure in the line, dependant on how much you apply before flipping the switch and letting the solenoid hold it..
