New R.Brake Line?!

Where can I find a new factory formed driver's side brake line?

No more talk about making your own brake lines, I just want to buy it factory now.

I checked those both, classic tube doesn't sell anything close, fine lines has a set, but is there anyone that sells just one line?

Is this the right one?

Fine Lines - Brake Lines

Are these the right lines? What's the HD axle?

You could always call and ask, you know. That's what the phone number at the top of the page is for. And besides, you didn't give us any information on your setup (front or rear lines? disc or drum? 1LE or standard brakes?).

If I remember correctly, the Borg-Warner axle is a 10-bolt.

What are you snapping at me for? You want all the info? You got it.

I bought two non-formed brake lines from the local shop, one had damaged threads and they thought I did it so I had to buy a new one. I got the other, only to find out they're the wrong threads. I don't have a lot of money anymore to buy anything I want. I didn't want to spend 30 bucks on the one line I need, but I already wasted $10 on bad lines and more money on the line-bending tool.

It's Drum in the back, I only need one line(driver's side, rear brake line, goes from the wheel cylinder to the 3-way intersection) because the previous one got pinched so I have to replace it. What should I do? and what does an HD axle mean?

I'm not snapping at you. You're up tight and ticked off with your problem. All I was saying is that if you are so pressed for time, call the company and ask if it's the right brake line.

Since I don't make the lines and have never dealt with them, I can't tell you for sure if that's what you need. However, it looks to me like that's correct if you have the 9-bolt. I would call and double check.

The HD axle is the Borg-Warner 9-bolt axle (I was wrong in my above post, it's not a 10-bolt). It's a more heavy duty axle than the standard 10-bolt. You can see the differences here.

Forget all of that, I finally made the brake line and installed it. It's not 100% perfect, I probably stripped some threading inside that 3-way valve, but I figure, how many times is someone going to replace brake lines in a car's lifetime? The next time they do, they just have to buy a that whole set, which IF the car is cared for, then Never!

Everything should work great since the flared end is sealed tightly against the 3-way valve.
