I'm interested. What was involved in getting those on? Do you have a link or something? And what about the rear brakes? Thanks.

these caliper use the same setup as c5 calipers, brackets, hubs, and rotors. just different lettering and stronger casting. they are the standard 2006 front brakes, they can be modded to be the F55 with brackets and 13.4" rotors, but the're not the Z06 brakes. here are links i used for the mod

I read in there that you need 91-92 Spindles, whats the difference between them and my 83 spindles?

89-UP SPINDLES ARE STRONGER THEN 82-88 SPINDLES.

BUT YOU DON'T NEED ANY SPECIFIC YEAR.

88-92 1LE SPINDLES ARE DESIGNED OFF 89-UP SPINDLES.

The only difference in C5 and C6 standard front brakes is the caliper casting, nothing more. Obviously the ZO6 brakes are totally different but the base setups are the same so they install the same, fit the same wheels, etc.

the brakes and axle are from a 97 lt1 setup. i just wanted to make it easy since the front brakes are the important ones, but they work good though.
