Car: only GM,88 camaro, 91r/s camaro, 91
Engine: Clean oil, looks fresh, no leaks
Transmission: Bright Red, never burnt, no leaks
Axle/Gears: currently whining
did this come from my brakes? "pics"

ok i could of sworn this ring thing fell out of my caliper some where, but i could not see where? when i did the right side brakes, i did not see a ring anywhere! was this already on the ground or wha? i put the new brakes on and they work good but i feel less prssure in my pedel, and now i cant tell if it was already like that,,,, so. befor i do aNYTHING i wanted to show you all these pics first . to see if ya can help. thanks in advance,,,

Looks like a donut gasket from an exhaust connection?

Attached a pic.

It is #9 in the picture. Basically a flexable rubber boot that goes over the piston. Keeps dust/dirt from getting between it and the bore.
